Award for contribution in the development of tourism in the region of Ruse municipality
On 27th of September 2012 - the World Tourism day, Bistra & Galina hotel received its consecutive acknowledge - Award for contribution in the development of tourism in the region of Ruse municipality, category "Spa & Business hotel".
The prize was presented by Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and National media group "Paradigma" at National review - competition "The municipalities for the tourism development".
International Award "The Arch of Europe"
The "Bistra and Galina" Hotel received its first international recognition in 2001 - this is the International Award "The Arch of Europe" - golden category of B.I.D. (Business Initiative Directions). The hotel was nominated by an international selecting panel who evaluate the companies as to the system "Total Quality Management" (TQM), comprising 110 criteria, which the hotel management and staff meet. On behalf of the owners the first international award was received by Mrs. Zdravka Burdarova on March 5th, 2001 in Frankfurt, Germany.
Annual Prize of the Bulgarian Hoteliers Restauranteurs Association (BHRA) for Building the Tourist Image of Bulgaria
In 2001 the Bulgarian Hoteliers Restauranteurs Association (BHRA) awarded the "Bistra and Galina" Hotel the annual prize of the Association for valuable contribution in building the tourist image of Bulgaria. The prize was presented at a formal ceremony in Sofia under the aegis of Mr. Simeon Sakskoburggotski Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bulgaria at that time.
International Award for Quality "ERA"
The "Bistra and Galina" Hotel received its second international award three years after its opening. The International Platinum Award for Quality "ERA" was presented at a formal ceremony in July 2002 in Geneva, Switzerland, by B.I.D. (Business Initiative Directions). Among the criteria according to which the hotel was nominated for the award as to the system "Total Quality Management" (TQM), are the quality of the service offered, the guest's satisfaction, innovations, management, leadership, communications and others.
International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry
The "Bistra and Galina" Hotel Complex was awarded the International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry (platinum category) in 2004 in Madrid, Spain as a recognition of the professional efforts of the staff of the hotel.
Annual Prize of the Bulgarian Hoteliers Restauranteurs Association (BHRA) for "City Hotel of the Year 2004"
The "Bistra and Galina" Hotel again won the acknowledgement of the professionals in tourism in 2004 - the Bulgarian Hoteliers Restauranteurs Association presented it with the prestigious award "City Hotel of the Year 2004".
Prize for the Greatest Contribution in the Development of Cultural Tourism 2009
At the International Exposition "Cultural Tourism 2009" in Veliko Turnovo the Bulgarian Hoteliers Restauranteurs Association, co-organiser of the event, awarded its Prize for the Greatest Contribution in the Development of Cultural Tourism for the period April 2008 - April 2009 to the "Bistra and Galina" Hotel Foundation. The distinction was conferred because of the Foundation sponsorship for the elaboration of a scale model of "The Profitable House" in Rousse. The scale model of this unique building is part of the exposition "Bulgaria in Miniature", which presents scale models of the best known historical and cultural landmarks in Bulgaria.
